It was a great plot line, an unlikely team of diverse backgrounds, takes on the most courageous mission known to man. They are to embark on a journey to space and save the planet from an asteroid hurling toward earth that would cause an Extinction Level Event (ELE)...wait I'm sorry did you say this was real?
There has been much speculation over the past few months whether or not there is an asteroid approaching. NASA has confirmed the presence of the comet Elenin and since has released coma measurements that span thirty times earth. The government releases a psa about an event that will turn your life upside down, not to mention NASA sends an email to its employees, that goes viral, warning of being prepared for likely disaster. Also try this on for size of you don't think you're being warned: Elenin (backwards)= Nine eleven = 9/11, the scientist who discovered the comet Leonid Elenin. Leonid = meteor shower that peaks in November (wikipedia). Elenin also = ELE = extinction level event. Are you saved and ready for the Master's return?
